Chromatography is a technique of separating 2 or more dissolved solids which are present in a solution in very small quantities.After sometime the water starts gradually rising due to capillary action.As the water moves up it takes the dyes present in the ink along with it.Different dyes have different levels of solubility and travel at different speeds as the water rises up.

There are a lot of facts about finger prints here is a few. Nobody has the same finger prints not even twins. There are three types of finger prints patent, latent, and impressed. Patent prints are called visible prints. The detail of the ridges is transferred onto substances like blood, ink, or grease. Impressed prints are fingerprints that are impressed into a soft surface like mud. An example is a shoe print in the mud. Latent print is a print that is not visible to the naked eye. Latent prints you can't see, but if you want to see it then you should use black powder a brush and some tape to lift the prints.

In the study of lip prints is called chelioscopy. Lip prints are used in many different crime scenes.No two humans have the same lip prints,not even identical twins.There are many different types of lip print patterns here are the basic five most people have. Short vertical lines or grooves, Long vertical lines or grooves, Diamond shaped grooves, Branching grooves, Rectangular shaped grooves. The most common lip print mostly everyone has is the short vertical lines or grooves. When lip prints are found in a crime scene they are lifted and brought back to the lab for evaluation. When lifting any type of prints you have to be careful not to smudge the print. How you lift a print. Step 1 you spread talcum powder over the print with a soft brush .
