We are Elizabeth and Solomon. We built The Deadly Blellow Lion. First we went to a computer and got on a roller coaster website. We had 35 fails before we succeeded....once! We then created it with the cost of only $12.75. We learned that you should put the tape under the track. We followed the Engineering Process by having jobs and not giving up.We also had a blueprint and followed through by getting tape, a marble, and foam tracks. When it messed up, we did it again by having one of us go to where it messed up last time and watching it to see how we could improve it. Team members: TreSean, Daylon, and Isabelle. Today[10-4-2016] we made a coaster called the Swift teal lion. It took a few tries, but finally we got it done. But then when we had just started celabrating we realized that the marble was stuck in the tape and if it was stuck in the tape it meant we had to start over.I learned that if you think that you will make mistakes, you might get more than you expected. How we followed the engineering design process:we thought about how we could make our coaster better from the last then we design it on a website called Jason Digital Coaster Creator then we created a foam version in real life then we tested it,alllot finally we succeeded. Our company, Coaster World, made a fast, safe, and fun roller coaster. (EMMA) To make the roller coaster we used 3 foam tracks, lots of tape, a marble, sand paper and construction paper. (KATE) We learned not to use lots of tape and the less people you have the less force you will have. We also learned that the coaster doesn't always work the first time. (EMILY) We followed the process by thinking of the design with coming up with some of our own. We put the ideas together and came up with one huge thing. First, we tested the coaster on a website. It had some fails, But we didn't give up. We fixed it and we got a success! Then, we built the actual coaster. We tested THAT and we got a success... after so many fails. You can see our video on this website(Coaster World). (EMILY, EMMA, and KATE!) We Are Coaster World! We built a roller coaster called the Lava Coaster. We started by building a basic design for the coaster but it went to fast and crashed. Then we put two loops and a hill at the end and it was a big success and it was not a snooze fest like it was before.(Ryan) Facts We Learned:One fact is .That you should never put tape on the top ,so the marble won't get stuck in the tape. Friction will also help because it will stop the marble so that what ever is on it it does not fall off ...(Weston) First we thought about the design then we built it and tested it, but it didn't work so we went back and thought and came up with a better coaster and we built it and then tested it, it WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! so we stuck with that design.(Cole) By: Ryan,Weston,Cole
