This unit in GT was about American landmarks and memorials. I did my landmark on "Ford's Theater."Everyone in GT did a landmark or memorial. In celebration of the unit we did an open house/museum.We got to show our families our work.
Personally I think we were learning this because everyone needs to know American History, but in a fun way. I liked my project the most because it was fun to paint and look up facts. My least favorite thing to do was wearing George Washington's wig [it was itchy.] THATS MY REFLECTION FOR THIS UNIT --- CASEY We learned about American history, and to introduce that to people we made a museum. In order to have a great museum we interviewed a museum curator. First, we arranged our room, by moving the desks and we pulled out a wall and we put in the middle of our room. we decorated it with our projects and turned into our museum. The museum was where parents and friends came to see what we have been doing in g.t. At our museum about 150 people visited to learn about our history.
by: Mallory Weaver and Aly Navarro Reflection on GT MuseumIt was fun doing all the projects that we had to set up! I'm glad that we actually got to set up a museum. I loved making the Library of Congress out of Legos! The thing I liked the best about the unit was being able to show it to everyone. Tour guiding was more fun than I thought it would be. The thing I liked the least was that the amount of projects we had to do was crazy! I don't think I have ever had this much fun in G.T. before. The only thing I would like to change about it was that we should have an actual booth so that we could have a log about how much popcorn we gave out.
