Our class did a movie called "PC352 Mystery". It was about a class that found an ancient chemical in a paper snowflake. My role was a student in the movie, but backstage I was a director. My favorite part was when I had the chemical on my hands and was about to take a shower, but the teacher stopped me. That was funny! My least favorite part was when Summer, my friend, tripped. I bet that hurt! One thing I learned was that it takes more than one person to film a movie. Another thing I learned was there are many different types of parts to do backstage. There's a director, editor, producer, and even more. One more thing that I learned was there is not one role more important the other. I think one thing that I could do better is speak louder. My movie making experience was very fun and exciting. I hope I can do it again. ~ Sophie Our class made the movie PC352 Mystery. In the movie I played Mrs. Johnson, I also did the story board. The story board is little sketches of the movie. My favorite part was my inter view. My least favorite part was when Isabella tripped on a bottle. I learned it tacks team work to make a movie, when you make a movie it is not always perfect, and try your hardest. What I would do better next time is listen and do what I'm supposed to do. Macie Our class did a movie called PC352 Mystery. My roles were the pedestrian and co-director. My favorite part was starting and ending the scenes. While the least favorite part was making the snow flakes turn green. I learned that movies are mostly hard, voice acting is easy, and there are lots of roles in movies. Next time, I'll try to make the snowflakes turning green right. Brixton Hello, my name is Victoria. I play Juliette in the movie and was also the sound director. Our movie was called PC352 mystery, which was about a group of 8 kids who discover a long lost chemical called PC352 and search for a way to demolish it. My favorite part of the movie was when I got to read the computer screen, which Sophie (Piper in the movie) and I made! We just had it pulled up at the top of the screen, then when I typed it in, I just went up tot hte top and clicked it! :) ;) As for my least favorite part, well, I didn't think I have one! But if I had to choose, (which I do) it would probably be when Summer (Isabella in the movie) tripped. Did it hurt Summer? The way I could do better next time would be if I was a little LESS dramatic. I learned that you must speak loudly, go with the flow (like when someone says something off script), and keep trying! Well, That's All Folks! Victoria We made a movie about a chemical invading a school. I was the camera guy and was the funny guy in the movie! I like the part where we were complaining that Channing was picked first! My least favorite part was where Summer fell and didn't even touch the bottle. I could hold the camera better next time! Somethings I learned were lights, perspectives (shots), and it takes a lot of teamwork. Brady Our class made the movie PC352 Mystery. It was really fun. My favorite part was when "Isabella" (me) fake-tripped on the bottle at the bottom of the stairs. It was my favorite because I realized fake- tripping is more fun than it looks. My least favorite part was when "Piper"(Sophie) was washing her hands because as she was doing it I was randomly staring at my arm way behind the crowd surrounding her.At least I learned how to make a movie, how to act out parts in a movie, and how you can edit the movie.Next time, I think I could do better by not randomly looking at my arm. :) ~Summer :D Our class made a movie about a virus named PC352. My role was just the props person. We put a lot of things on the piece of paper like: chairs, scissors, paper, and any other type of classroom item. My other role was an actress. I just wore normal clothes like a student would because I was a student in the movie. My favorite part of the movie is when Sophie (Piper) was going to the shower instead of the sink. That was funny! My least favorite part of the movies was when I talked too low in the science lab. I was like this: RKLZFLOMA. Three things I learned was that you need to speak loudly especially in a room that is big and echoey, you need a non-shaky camera person, and I learned that you need to be confident in yourself that you can be very brave in front of the camera. I could speak louder next time, and remember where you were and where the props were last time the camera cut. I loved being in the movie! Channing My class did PC352 Mystery. My roe was to pick up the green bottle. My favorite part was when they weren't to the science lab. My least favorite part was my speaking part. I learned how to hold a camera, hot to act, and I learned that things are better than expected. I should pay more attention to the movie instead of myself next time I watch it. Nick

We were able to go behind the scenes at the Center for Creative Media. They taught us many things about film making and movies. While we were there, they helped us make a music video. While making this video, we learned:
While we were there we rotated through different stations and worked with the different students from the CCM. They taught us:
We want to thank everyone at the CCM for teaching us about films, movies, and team work! (And for the cookies and lemonade!) We had the best time in our lives! |
