I learned who made the first Lego set and why. – Carson I already knew a lot of this information already which made my project easier. My project was about famous inventors. I didn’t know that there was someone named Steve Wozniak and that he did most of the work. – Mathew I learned about color blindness. Before I learned about it, I didn’t know that cones and rods worked together to make the retinas. I also learned that there is more than one kind of color blindness. There are also multiple tests that you have to take in order to be diagnosed with color blindness. – Macy I learned that there were more than just 11 Apollo missions. I originally thought there were just 11, but there were actually 17. I also learned about the Sky Lab program, which was split into three missions to build a satilite between 1973 and 1974. I also learned that the rockets break down into five different pieces. – Ethan I learned a lot about marine life. For example, I learned how fish can change genders at random times and how a group of jellyfish is called a smack. I also learned about new species and which zones they live in. – Mallory I learned that named and apparences differ from different myths, but no matter what the name for the sun god, it always means sun. I also learned the sun gods always explain how the sun rises and sets. In African myths, they all give credence to a spider named Ananssi. – Jeremy I learned about the Vietnma War. I learned about the main guns that they used and the secret operation of Ia Drag. – Casey I learned that the ITA stands for Intercolligiat Tennis Association. They are in charge of all college tennis. They have been inducting men since 1983 and women 1995 into their Hall of Fame. They induct about 6-9 men and 6-8 women a year. I love this unit. – Aly I studied WWII. I learned about the Balltle of Iowo Jima and the bombing of Nagasaki. I learned that there were six different kids of rifles and 5 different kinds of pistols. – Sam
