In the past history, microscopes have changed the way scientists have looked at everything in forensic science. Before: Scientists were not able to see fingerprints up close, so they could not see important details. This made it difficult to make accurate decisions on who committed the crime. Scientists needed a better way to identify better information. In the next few years, the best invention that would help identify better information in crimes was the magnifying glass. This invention was made to help detectives and scientists, but this was not enough. That's when the microscope was created.
Today: The microscope helps people all around the world today with getting a closer look at different things that may not be visible to the naked eye. It includes a light to help you see better and a zoom handle to get even closer. Scientists would probably wish they had never lived back then when they didn't have advanced lenses.
