Today we did different rotations. One of the rotations we did was researching different times in history of finger printing and famous detectives. We wrote down facts about the history and the detectives. We put the facts on paper. We are going to make a time line out of the facts we have all worked on. This has helped us learn about the stages of fingerprinting and how technology has increased in this matter.
Written by: Kate, Emily, Allie, and Victoria Today for our C.S.I unit, we had stations where we did fingerprinting, lip printing, and discovered the history of fingerprinting, while doing fun activities. Here are the steps on how to fingerprint:
-First, you take a number 2 pencil and color in a small part of paper. (Emma) -Next, rub your finger on the place where you colored with your pencil, covering it with graphite. (Caleb) -Then, put tape on your finger with the graphite showing. (Karson) -Afterwards, place the tape on a piece of paper and your fingerprint should be showing. (Emma) -Last, you can have fun identifying and labeling your fingerprints and seeing how much different your fingerprints are from your friends. (Caleb) Thanks for reading! We'll be posting a video soon! Have Fun! Researched by: Karson, Caleb, and Emma |
