We mystery skyped with Ranger Mike in Yellowstone National Park. A mystery skype is where you find information and try to find out where the other person is located. - Megan and Arieanna
Some of the cool things we learned are: - Yellowstone is in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. (Nathan) - Yellowstone was the first national park. (Megan) - I learned that Old Faithful shoots out at 160 degrees ferenheight. (Channing) - Not all grey wolves are grey. (Kamo) - Yellowstone has all sorts of cool animals like bears and wolves. (Josh) - The animals are not afraid of wildfires because they are used to them. (Summer) - The rangers cannot work outside if it is negative 20 degrees. (Sara) - The park is over 700,000 acres large. (Brixton) - Yellowstone has an average of three earthquakes each day. (Nicholas) Yellowstone National Park is located on top of a super volcano. In 1870 an exhibition was sent out to see if the tall tales about Yellowstone were true. In 1872 congress and President Grant decided to protect Yellowstone by making it the first national park. They protected it because of its wildlife, geysers, and hot springs. That is why Yellowstone is an important AMERICAN LANDMARK. - The Whole Class :)

Our field trip was amazing! We learned about the 21st century. We also learned about the presidents and their secrets. We got to go in an airplane and jumped out not from the air though. Then we got to see a tank and the things in it.Another thing we saw was some really cool uniforms they used to wear.[Summer and Channing] We learned about the war, what they used in the war, and what vehicles the used.[Brixton] It was awsome to me because we learned about American History! [Nicholas]
Help! We just finished "Preparing for the 21st Century". We mainly studied anything to do with technology. I learned that computers, televisions, xboxes, etc. are not the only type of technology. Even glasses are technology! My favorite part of the whole unit was when we started and finished our stop motion videos. my least favorite part was we had to write about our stop motion video.what i think should be changed next time is replace one day with a filed trip to a store called Batteries Plus, since its part of technology. Another thing i think we should have changed is having to make our Animoto. I wish we could it with something else. A question I wanted to know was how someone qualified something as technology. I mean, what do you have to have out of it, or what it is it supposed to do to be considered technology? I also was wondering how someone got the word "technology". I didn't know if it was like the last name of someone, or something popular at that time, or well you get my point. I just don't know who or how someone got the word "technology". I think my way of making a difference using technology would be teaching any person, any at all, about technology and how to use different things that have to do with technology. Well, that is my story!!!
Nathan After being saved by Wyldstyle, Emmet gets into some trouble by some robots! Then Emmet goes on a journey through The Old West. We made our stop motion video. It's really easy, and only with a few steps! You first have to know what it's going to be about. After that, you have to take some pictures. After you finish the video, you can upload it to youtube or on a website. Our video is about fluffy the teddy bear and his Christmas surprise.First, Fluffy waits for Santa to come to his house. In the middle Fluffy hears someone coming down the chimney. "Santa"! Fluffy yells "your here"! When Santa comes he brings an awesome surprise! It turns out that Fluffy LOVES his incredibly awesome, ,great, wonderful, amazing surprise! That is part of our stop motion video" The Christmas Surprise". thank you for watching our stop motion video!Thank you again for reading this passage! We are happy you watched our stop motion video and reading this passage ! We hope you liked them!from your best friends in the whole world ~ Summer and Channing ( : P.S your the best person ever! |
