We are learning about and making a water clock. We read that water clocks that told time were made first by a Greek man in Ancient Egypt. In Ancient Greece the water clock was used to tell people how long they had to do something or how much time past. A water clock is like a timer. They work by water dripping from one pot to another. The pots were decorated by Ancient Greeks. Somebody had to watch the water level or time might have run out without anyone knowing. --- Alex and Bradley Today we also finished our 3D map which is called a relief map. We located Mount Olympus, several important city-states, and the oceans. --- Claire and Ava
