We are making shields that the Greeks used to fight in the army and we're making frescos that the Greeks painted on their walls. The Greeks used the shields to frighten the enemy and to protect each other. (Emma) They were made out of metal, wood, and leather. The shields were three feet wide. (Victoria) We made our shields out of poster board. (Emily) They wore other armor on their bodies. When they marched they were in a straight line so the shields protected each other. (Tye) Hoplite War line with our shields
