Chromatography is a technique of separating 2 or more dissolved solids which are present in a solution in very small quantities. After sometime the water starts gradually rising due to capillary action. As the water moves up it takes the dyes present in the ink along with it.Different dyes have different levels of solubility and travel at different speeds as the water rises up.

There are a lot of facts about finger prints here is a few. Nobody has the same finger prints not even twins. There are three types of finger prints patent, latent, and impressed. Patent prints are called visible prints. The detail of the ridges is transferred onto substances like blood, ink, or grease. Impressed prints are fingerprints that are impressed into a soft surface like mud. An example is a shoe print in the mud. Latent print is a print that is not visible to the naked eye. Latent prints you can't see, but if you want to see it then you should use black powder a brush and some tape to lift the prints.

Lip prints are used in many different crime scenes. No two humans have the same lip prints, not even identical twins. There are many different types of lip print patterns here are the basic five most people have. When lifting any type of prints you have to be careful not to smudge the print. How you lift a print. Step 1 you spread talcum powder over the print with a soft brush . After the print is photographed ,the print is transferred to a piece of clear plastic tape. A piece of tape is placed over the print and then lifted or peeled away. By OLIVIA AND lily
The Egyptian Gods were one, if not the most important part of ancient Egypt because of how much the have to do with their culture. Their gods had many powers that varied in all sorts of ways. They also had many animal heads but none were the same. Many of the gods were brought into the world by the Egyptians prayers. However, a lot of them were birthed from Ra, the first god, and many different women. "Why were they so much of a important part of ancient Egypt?" you may ask... well, they were said to be in control of most of the elements of the area like the river by them, the animals around them, and maybe even the sun. So you can see how they'd be important. - Channing Rice
Our project was to research an American landmark of our choice and make a book about it, and make a google slide about it. For example I researched the Bunker Hill Monument which was a battle in the Revolutionary War. Another example is the Everglades National Park which I researched a fact about the everglades is it has over 200,000 alligators. Then there is Fort McHenry where Francis Scott Key wrote the " Star Spangled Banner." researched by: Grayson, Bo, and LilyFourth graders went on a field trip to the American Freedom Museum in Bullard, Texas. Here are some things we saw and learned about:
In order to discover our first topic of study for the year, students were challenged with breaking out of the box. Could they do it? |
